Located on the Pavilion's fourth floor, the Mom/Baby Unit rooms are private, with a private bathroom and a sleep area for your partner or support person. 

The nurses on the Mom/Baby Unit specialize in caring for you and your baby together.  The focus on your stay is to help you rest and recover from the birth, and to teach you how to care for your new baby. 

Most of the baby's care can be provided at your bedside, and we welcome you to keep your new baby with you as much as you like.  The unit does have a well-born nursery available for newborns to get care, if you so choose. 

Certified lactation specialists provide breastfeeding support for mothers who would like to breastfeed.  The lactation specialists are available before and after the birth to help you successfully breastfeed during your hospital stay, and provide information and support to continue your success at home. 

The unit also has a large family and visitor waiting area, as well as a separate play area for children and a family cafe.
